We’re looking for a motivated Junior Full-Stack PHP Engineer to join our team on a project in the documents management domain. In this role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative, international group of professionals to build and maintain robust web applications. You’ll be directly involved in enhancing the platform, implementing new features, and optimizing existing functionality to deliver a top-notch user experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to develop, test, and maintain new features using PHP, the Yii2 or similar frameworks, and modern front-end technologies
- Integrate RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end components
- Write clean, maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues to continuously improve application performance and reliability
- Work with version control (Git) to manage and track changes in the codebase
- Contribute to UI enhancements and front-end optimization, utilizing frameworks like Vue.js
- Participate in communication with our international clients in English whenever required, both in written or verbal forms
- Follow internal software development processes and standards
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in web development
- Solid foundation in PHP programming
- Hands-on experience with the Yii2 or a similar framework, including familiarity with MVC architecture, Active Record, behaviors, and modules.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and a strong understanding of JavaScript
- Practical experience with SQL and MySQL for database-driven applications
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications
- Experience using Git for version control
- Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Vue.js
- Upper intermediate English
