Middle React Native Developer

We’re looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join one of our international projects in the trading industry for the startup headquartered in Dubai, UAE. You will be taking a leading role in building a cross-platform mobile application using the latest version of React Native.
This project is all stuffed with modern technologies around it and uses the latest version of Laravel at the heart of API; React.js on the front-end and all UI components; Twillio for VoIP services; blockchain for smart contracts and so on. No jokes, this might be one of the most challenging projects for you.
In addition to the pleasant selection of technologies, you will be deeply involved in all major decision-making processes, have exposure to the key stakeholders, and will be able to directly contribute to the product development strategy with no middleman around. The whole communication within the team is based in English which could also be a great opportunity to improve and practice your soft skills.
Required skills:
- 2+ years of professional experience with React Native.
- Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns;
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript;
- Experience with state management using Redux / Flux;
- Experienced user of Git;
- Experience with unit testing;
- Experience consuming API endpoints;
- Experience building mobile applications with the efficient UI using React Native;
- Strong knowledge of design principles, user interfaces, and usability;
- Linux and/or OS X experience.
Responsibilities:
- Follow team guidelines ensuring quality and consistency in the design and development phases of applications
- Lead efforts to design, architect, and write new software components
- Independently handle project activities related to builds and deployments
- Create software tests, verify the functionality and quality of the software
- Provide support for production applications as issues arise
- Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize applications
- Work with project management to understand new requirements
- Follow internal software development processes and standards
